When Jem looks into someones eyes, she sees the exact date they will die. Because of this, she does not connect with other people. When she meets Spider she ditches all of that, helping him make the most of his life before his date, finally, takes over him.
This heartbreaking novel really caught my attention. Jem's power really stunned me and I loved her take to the strange power. I love this novel.
