What happened to Goodbye by Sarah Dessen

The review you are currently reading is on What happened to Goodbye. What happened to Goodbye was written by Sarah Dessen. I would classify this book as Teen. I gave it a 3 star rating. I will explain later in this review.

McLean has traveled from place to place with her Dad ever since her Mom and him divorced. Each town has given her the chance to be a different person. Now, finally, she has chosen to be herself, but she is not sure who that is. But can her new friends help her to find out who that is?

I am a bit dissapointed in this book because I would have liked a bit more action. There was only really one big event. I also thought it was a bit slow-paced. Otherwise I thought it was ok.

She does not know when she will wake up, but only that it is a 301 year journey. When she is woken up 50 years early she nearly drowns and is very upset and angry. Now she and Elder must figure out who is causing these constant murders.

I liked this book because of the mystery and the way it unravelled throughout the story. I also liked the way Amy and Elder gradually changed throught the events in the story.

Matched by Ally Condie

The review you are currently reading is on Matched. It is 1st of the Matched series. Matched was written by Ally Condie. I would classify this book as Teen. I gave it a 5 star rating. I will explain later in this review.

Cassia is just about to get Matched. Getting Matched is a big part of someone in her society's life. When she gets home she cant wait to see what her partner has written about himself, but when she looks on the screen she sees not just one person but two people. Cassia must now decide to love and risk her life of to follow the society and be stuck without her true love forever.

I love how Cassia's feelings are described so vividly. She has so many things to think about and, somehow, she can make sense of it all and can choose a path for her life.

Overall this is one of my favorite books, I absolutely love it. I cannot wait for Crossed!
